Nevada High School Basketball - Elko thwarts Lowry

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) and the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), observed Elko's basketball team knock off Lowry by a score of 44-32.

The Indians (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a 0-8 record.

In their next game, the Buckaroos encounter the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Lowry will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 63-35 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).
