High School Basketball - Freshman Opponent holds off Red River

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Freshman Opponent basketball team scored a close 39-35 triumph over the Red River Rattlers.
The (75-129) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Christian Academy (Wright City, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Liberty Christian Academy was tipped by Freshman Opponent (, ), 58-18, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rattlers confront the Texas Lions HomeSchool Lions (Austin, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Red River will attempt to better on its 19-9 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 44-37 non-league win over Red River (Gainesville, TX).
