The Barnesville Shamrocks basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Shadyside Tigers to 31 in the Shamrocks league triumph on Saturday.

The Shamrocks now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Bellaire for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Barnesville will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 48-42 league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Big Reds record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Shadyside falls to 3-15 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH) to confront the Zeps in a Mid-Ohio Valley game on Monday, January 27. The Zeps go into the game with a record of 9-7. Shenandoah lost 40-34 in their recent league game against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH)
