Wyoming High School Basketball - Big Piney holds off Wind River

The Big Piney Punchers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Wind River Cougars to 49 in the Punchers league triumph on Saturday.
The Punchers now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Shoshoni for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Big Piney will confront a Wranglers team coming off a 53-19 league loss to Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY). The Wranglers record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Wind River falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Dubois (Dubois, WY) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rams go into the game with a record of 4-7. Dubois lost 60-19 in their recent league game against Riverside (Basin, WY)
