Illinois High School Basketball - St. Anthony sneaks past Brownstown

The St. Anthony Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Brownstown Bombers to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 18-4 record. They play next when they travel to Farina South Central for a National Trail game on Monday, January 27. St. Anthony will play a Cougars team coming off a 64-47 non-league loss to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-20.
With the loss, Brownstown falls to 20-3 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to North Clay (Louisville, IL) to play the Cardinals in a game on Monday, January 27. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 1-2. North Clay lost 47-23 in their recent non-league game against Dieterich (Dieterich, IL)
