Nebraska High School Basketball - Shelby-Rising City succumbs to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley

January 25, 2025: Shelby, NE 68662

The Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles defeated the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball squad by a final score of 40-32 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 27. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 8-7 record after their 50-31 league win over Osceola (Osceola, NE).

The Huskies (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Hampton (Hampton, NE). The Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 1-15 record. In their last outing, Hampton was defeated by High Plains (Polk, NE), 51-36, in a non-league outing.
