In Saturday's non-league test, the Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) basketball squad defeated the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN), by a final score of 57-42.
Next, the Hilltoppers clash with the Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 28. Science Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record.
The Fighting Cyclones (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Patriots come into the 3A District 1 test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Sullivan East went down by Unicoi County (Erwin, TN), 72-66, in a league test.
