In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Fort Atkinson Blackhawks basketball team scored a good 65-56 triumph over the Jefferson Eagles.
The Blackhawks (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Waunakee (Waunakee, WI). The Warriors go into the Badger - Large contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Waunakee topped Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI), 59-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 48-36 non-league win over Whitewater (Whitewater, WI).
