Georgia High School Basketball - Hampton tipped by Union Grove

January 25, 2025: Hampton, GA 30228

In Saturday's league test, the Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) basketball squad got by the host Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA), by a score of 49-42.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers (McDonough, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 3-15 record after their 2-0 league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA).

The Hornets (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Jones County (Gray, GA). The Greyhounds come into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 18-1 record. In their last test, Jones County held off Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 50-34, in a league test.
