The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the T.R. Miller Tigers (Brewton, AL) and the host Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL), observed T.R. Miller's basketball team overwhelm Hillcrest by a score of 52-16.
The Tigers (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northview (Bratt, FL). The Chiefs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Northview was routed by Laurel Hill (Laurel Hill, FL), 82-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Flomaton Hurricanes (Flomaton, AL) in a 3A Area 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 48-42 league loss to Monroe County (Monroeville, AL).
