In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs basketball team scored a big 63-42 triumph over the Holmdel Hornets.
The Bucs (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ). The Lancers go into the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, St. John-Vianney was trounced by Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ), 59-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) in a Shore A - Central contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Holmdel will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 49-43 non-league win over Neptune (Neptune, NJ).
