The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) and the visiting North Eagles (North, SC), observed Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's basketball team overcome North by a margin of 51-36.

The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC). The War Eagles come into the A Region 3 challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Wagener-Salley dropped by Blackville-Hilda (Blackville, SC), 37-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Williston-Elko Blue Devils (Williston, SC) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. North will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 35-25 league win over Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC).
