Indiana High School Basketball - La Porte trounced by Lowell

January 25, 2025: La Porte, IN 46350

Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), 53-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lowell advances its record to 14-7 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Merrillville won 57-12 in their recent league bout against Portage (Portage, IN)

With the loss, La Porte falls to 0-20 on the campaign. The Slicers host Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to play the Kingsmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Kingsmen go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Penn won 66-35 in their recent league bout against South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN)
