The Paris Eagles basketball squad (Paris, AR), was crushed 50-25 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Lamar Warriors (Lamar, AR)
With the victory, Lamar advances its record to 19-2 on the year. The Warriors host Jasper (Jasper, AR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 13-8.
The Eagles now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lavaca for a 3A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Paris will meet a Golden Arrows squad coming off a 51-43 league loss to Charleston (Charleston, AR). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 8-14.
