With the victory, Miami East advances its record to 8-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Northridge (Dayton, OH) to meet the Polar Bears in a Three Rivers match on Monday, January 27. The Polar Bears enter the match with a record of 12-5. Northridge won 58-24 in their recent non-league match against Stivers School for the Arts (Dayton, OH)

The Cavaliers now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington for a Three Rivers match on Thursday, January 30. Lehman Catholic will meet a Buccs squad coming off a 38-27 non-league win over Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH). The Buccs record now stands at 17-2.
