The Liberal Bulldogs nipped the visiting Pierce City Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 53-50 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Riverton Rams (Riverton, KS) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Liberal will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Rams enter the outing with a 5-2 record after their 26-25 non-league win over Southeast (Cherokee, KS).
The Eagles (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Miller (Miller, MO). The Cardinals enter the Southwest outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Miller got by Early (Morrisville, MO), 55-36, in a non-league outing.
