Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Plains Horsemen (Plains, MT), 35-34 in a league match.

With the victory, Lincoln County advances its record to 2-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Superior (Superior, MT) to meet the Bobcats in a B District 7 match on Saturday, February 1. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 4-5. Superior lost 60-49 in their recent league match against Thompson Falls (Thompson Falls, MT)

The Horsemen now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alberton for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30.
