The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) and the host Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA), observed Loyalsock Township's basketball team overwhelm Warrior Run by a score of 64-9.

The Lancers (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans come into the Heartland III challenge with a 17-1 record. In their last challenge, Hughesville trounced Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA), 64-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Defenders encounter the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) in a Heartland III challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Warrior Run will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The RED TORNADOES come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 52-38 league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA).
