The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs basketball squad (Lebanon, CT), was nudged 45-38 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT)
With the victory, Wheeler advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Lions travel to The Williams School (New London, CT) to meet the Blues in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Blues enter the battle with a record of 2-1. The Williams School won 34-28 in their recent non-league battle against Westover (Middlebury, CT)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stonington for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. Lyman Memorial will meet a Bears squad coming off a 43-28 league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Bears record now stands at 1-3.
