The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) and the visiting Southwest Christian School Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), observed Midland Christian's basketball team overwhelm Southwest Christian School by a score of 59-32.

The Mustangs (20-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge with a 24-6 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Southwest Christian School will attempt to improve on its 21-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 37-25 league win over Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
