The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) and the visiting Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), observed Salesian College Preparatory's basketball team knock off Bishop O'Dowd by a score of 58-43.
The Pride (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA). The Spartans come into the challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Pinole Valley was knocked off by San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 52-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 31. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
