Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Padua Franciscan knocks off Holy Name

The Padua Franciscan Bruins ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the visiting Holy Name Green Wave to 1 in the Bruins league victory on Saturday.
The Bruins now own a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shaker Heights for a Great Lakes Hockey League bout on Saturday, February 1. Padua Franciscan will encounter a Red Raiders team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 12-14.
With the defeat, Holy Name moves to 2-13 on the season. The Green wave travel to Shaker Heights (Shaker Heights, OH) to encounter the Red Raiders in a Great Lakes Hockey League bout on Sunday, January 26. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-13. Shaker Heights lost 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against University School (Hunting Valley, OH)
