The Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) basketball toppled the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 55-46 in Saturday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chattooga for a bout on Friday, January 31.
With the loss, Fannin County falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Dade County (Trenton, GA) to play the Wolverines in a bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
