Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 47-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hancock County advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Indians travel to West Greene (Mosheim, TN) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 1. The Buffaloes go into the contest with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Pioneers confront the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Thomas Walker will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
