Texas High School Soccer - Westfield nudges Dekaney

The Westfield Mustangs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Dekaney Wildcats to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region 2 District 14 outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Nimitz was edged by MacArthur (Houston, TX), 5-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 2 District 14 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Dekaney will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 1-1 league Spring (Spring, TX).
