George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS), 6-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, George County moves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hancock (Kiln, MS) to clash with the Hawks in a 6A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 28. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 7-9.

The Hurricanes now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Pass Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 28. West Harrison will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 12-6.
