Texas High School Soccer - Goose Creek Memorial nudges King

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Goose Creek Memorial Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the King Panthers.
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, North Shore was edged by Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 2-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region 3 District 23 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. King will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 5-1 league loss to Atascocita (Humble, TX).
