New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia Prep trounces Cottonwood Classical Prep

The Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), 66-40 in Wednesday's league test.

The Sundevils (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Cuba (Cuba, NM). The Rams go into the 3A District 5 test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Cuba was trounced by Bosque (Albuquerque, NM), 89-68, in a league test.

The Coyotes now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, January 27. Cottonwood Classical Prep will encounter a Blue Griffins squad coming off a 62-51 league loss to Raton (Raton, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 9-7.
