In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Hayden Wildcats (Hayden, AL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL), by a margin of 60-6.
The Wildcats (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 17-4 record. In their last outing, Locust Fork smashed Cleveland (Cleveland, AL), 60-25, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson Christian Academy for a 1A Area 11 outing on Monday, January 31.
