The Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Cathedral City Lions (Cathedral City, CA), 66-7 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA). The Trojans go into the Desert Valley test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Yucca Valley was trounced by Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA), 57-46, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 1-14 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Hot Springs for a Desert Valley test on Friday, January 28. Cathedral City will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 57-36 league loss to Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-8.
