The Orange County Fighting Hornets basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Albemarle Patriots to 10 in the Fighting Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Fighting Hornets now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goochland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 31.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Louisa County was routed by Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 34-28, in a non-league contest.
