The Etna Lions basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Modoc Braves to 40 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Weed for a bout on Friday, January 28. Etna will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 69-53 non-league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-1.
Next up, the Braves clash with the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 29. Modoc will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 60-27 league loss to Etna (Etna, CA).
