The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons to 66 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Minnesota Christian for a A Section 3 contest on Saturday, January 28. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 76-59 league win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 9-5.
The Dragons (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers enter the A Section 3 contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Westbrook-Walnut Grove ran past Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 49-34, in a league contest.
