    January 26, 2023: Brainerd, MN 56401

    Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) and the visiting Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN), saw Brainerd's basketball squad hold off Alexandria by a tally of 75-72.

    With the victory, Brainerd improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Elk River (Elk River, MN) to play the Elks in a AAAA Section 8 challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Elk River lost 82-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN)

    Next up, the Cardinals play the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) in a AAA Section 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Alexandria will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record.
