The Amherst County Lancers basketball team (Amherst, VA), dropped 73-53 in Thursday's league battle with the host Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA)

The Hilltoppers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson Forest for a Seminole battle on Monday, January 30. Glass will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 67-44 league win over Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-3.

The Lancers (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Red Devils come into the Seminole battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Rustburg prevailed over Liberty (Bedford, VA), 80-70, in a league battle.
