In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Maple Grove Crimson basketball team scored a good 52-43 triumph over the Anoka Tornadoes.
In their next game, the Crimson meet the Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN) in a AAAA Section 5 match, on Monday, January 30. Maple Grove will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Orioles enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 74-55 league loss to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN).
With the defeat, Anoka moves to 6-7 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Mound-Westonka (Mound, MN) to meet the White Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, January 28. The White Hawks enter the match with a record of 3-10.
