The Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA), 71-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Sun Devils (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Scorpions go into the Mojave River test with a 16-10 record. In their last test, Hesperia was trounced by Orangewood Academy (Garden Grove, CA), 57-41, in a non-league test.

The Diamondbacks now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Sultana for a Mojave River test on Tuesday, January 31. Serrano will encounter a Sultans squad coming off a 83-40 league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 5-14.
