South Dakota High School Basketball - Gregory trounces Avon

The Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD) basketball crushed the host Avon Pirates (Avon, SD), 61-33 in Thursday's league test.

The Gorillas (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Jones County was trounced by Lyman (Presho, SD), 59-52, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Avon will encounter a Flyers squad coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Mitchell Christian (Mitchell, SD). The Flyers record now stands at 3-9.
