Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bedford can't hold off Bishop McCort

The Bishop McCort Crushers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Bedford Bisons to 58 in the Crushers league victory on Thursday.

The Crushers now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a Laurel Highlands contest on Friday, January 27. Bishop McCort will battle a Rangers team coming off a 67-65 non-league loss to Portage (Portage, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 7-6.

The Bisons (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Huskies come into the Laurel Highlands contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Bishop Carroll edged Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA), 60-38, in a league contest.
