Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX), 72-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Prairie Valley upgrades its record to 13-13 on the season. The Bulldogs host Slidell (Slidell, TX) to play the Greyhounds in a 1A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, January 27. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 15-12. Slidell won 86-14 in their recent league bout against Forestburg (Forestburg, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Slidell Greyhounds (Slidell, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Bellevue will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 16-12 record after their 62-36 league win over Prairie Valley (Nocona, TX).
