In Thursday's non-league outing, the Bolton Central Eagles (Bolton Landing, NY) basketball squad edged the visiting Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), by a count of 54-48.
The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Chazy (Chazy, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Chazy held off Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY), 50-26, in a league outing.
The Griffins now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Crown Point for a Section 7 Mountain Valley outing on Tuesday, January 31. Boquet Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 55-48 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.
