Colorado High School Basketball - Brush nips Strasburg

January 26, 2023: Strasburg, CO 80836

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) and the host Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO), saw Brush's basketball squad hold off Strasburg by a count of 60-56.

With the victory, Brush upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Beetdiggers travel to Sidney (Sidney, NE) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. Sidney won 67-62 in their recent league challenge against Chadron (Chadron, NE)

Next up, the Indians play the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Strasburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 70-47 league win over Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO).
