California School for the Deaf Eagles (Fremont, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting California Crosspoint Rams (Hayward, CA), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, California School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Cougars in a Bay Counties - General bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 10-7. Contra Costa Christian won 69-55 in their recent league bout against Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA)

Next up, the Rams play the Cristo Rey De La Salle Mustangs (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 1. California Crosspoint will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 69-59 non-league loss to Athenian (Danville, CA).
