The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Calvert Senecas to 40 in the Chieftains league triumph on Thursday.

The Chieftains now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Saturday, January 28. Hopewell-Loudon will meet a Raiders team coming off a 43-38 league win over Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 2-11.

The Senecas (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Panthers enter the Sandusky Bay - River contest with a 4-11 record.
