Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Carrabec upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Cobras travel to Forest Hills (Jackman, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Forest Hills won 72-28 in their recent non-league bout against Islesboro Central (Islesboro, ME)

Next up, the Greyhounds clash with the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bucks go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 80-34 non-league loss to Spruce Mountain (Jay, ME).
