Maryland High School Basketball - Central overwhelmed by Largo

The Central Falcons basketball team (Capitol Heights, MD), was routed 97-60 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Lions (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Freedom smashed Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA), 88-66, in a league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing on Tuesday, January 31. Central will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 56-53 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-8.
