In Thursday's league outing, the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) basketball squad nipped the host Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ), by a margin of 41-40.
The Indians (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Overbrook was tipped by Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ), 49-47, in a non-league outing.
The Chiefs now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Egg Harbor Township for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 28. Cherokee will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-52 league win over St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 16-3.
