The Clarke County Eagles basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Strasburg Rams to 32 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison County for a Bull Run contest on Tuesday, January 31. Clarke County will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 53-51 league loss to Strasburg (Strasburg, VA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 13-5.

The Rams (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Madison County (Madison, VA). The Mountaineers enter the Bull Run contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Madison County nudged Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 66-45, in a league contest.
