The Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins (Santa Fe, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), 79-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Blue Griffins (8-7) will now prepare for their test against West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Dons go into the 3A District 2 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, West Las Vegas was trounced by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 43-36, in a league test.
The Coyotes now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host East Mountain for a 3A District 5 test on Saturday, January 28. Cottonwood Classical Prep will encounter a Timberwolves squad coming off a 56-20 league loss to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-15.
