Colorado High School Basketball - Discovery Canyon trounced by Lewis-Palmer

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers basketball team scored a decisive 78-46 triumph over the Discovery Canyon Thunder.

In their next game, the Rangers meet the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak match, on Wednesday, February 1. Lewis-Palmer will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Kadets enter the match with a 16-2 record after their 78-46 league win over Lutheran (Parker, CO).

With the defeat, Discovery Canyon moves to 10-7 on the year. The Thunder host Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO) to meet the Bears in a 5A/4A Pikes Peak match on Wednesday, February 1. The Bears enter the match with a record of 9-8. Palmer Ridge lost 64-42 in their recent non-league match against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO)
